About

Built for the version of you staring at a bill you can't pay

noinsurance.co exists because the US healthcare system runs on a pricing fiction — and the people it hurts most are the 27 million Americans with no insurer to negotiate for them.

The pricing fiction, in one paragraph

Every hospital maintains a 'chargemaster' — a list of inflated sticker prices that insured patients never pay, because insurers negotiate them down behind closed doors. Uninsured patients get billed the full sticker by default. But nearly every hospital also has a self-pay rate, a financial assistance policy, and a legal obligation to give you a Good Faith Estimate before scheduled care. Most people are never told any of this. We tell you.

What we publish

Real cash-price benchmarks pulled from transparent surgery-center menus, direct-pay marketplaces, and published fee data. Negotiation scripts that billing departments actually respond to. Guides to charity care, the $4 generics list, manufacturer insulin caps, and direct-from-maker GLP-1 pricing. And when the best domestic cash price is still out of reach, honest comparisons with internationally accredited care abroad — primarily Colombia, where our sister network Colombia Medical verifies credentials and typical pricing on the ground.

What we don't do

We don't fabricate testimonials, invent statistics, or quote prices as promises. Every figure on this site is a typical 2026 range with its basis stated, not a quote. We're not doctors, lawyers, or financial advisors — we're researchers who got tired of watching people pay list price for the only product in America sold without a price tag.
